Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 1, 2026
My $100 Tomato is built with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Data Stored on Your Device
All data you enter — garden beds, plants, harvests, expenses, and photos — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server or third party.
Location
My $100 Tomato requests access to your approximate location for one purpose only: to determine your USDA Plant Hardiness Zone. This information is used in real time to display your zone within the app and is not stored, logged, or shared.
You can deny location access at any time in your iPhone's Settings. The app will still function fully without it.
Photos
If you choose to add photos to your garden beds, those images are saved locally on your device. They are not uploaded, shared, or accessible by anyone other than you.
Third-Party Services
My $100 Tomato does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools. No data is shared with any third party.
Children's Privacy
My $100 Tomato does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app collects no personal information from any user.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
